2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
This October is a is a very special time for us here at Crossroads. We are committed to seeking God by praying diligently each day of the month. Now more than ever, we need to dedicate time to sit before the Lord with our celebrations, cares, and concerns.
Online:
We will be publishing daily prayers on our social media accounts for those who may only be connected to Crossroads virtually. There is also a page on our website people can use to confidentially submit prayer requests. Emailing prayers to praycrossroads@gmail.com will get your prayers onto our email prayer chain.
In Person:
For those able to attend Crossroads in person, we will have "Daily Prayer focus cards" that people can use as a guide to daily personal prayer. We also encourage people to continue using the prayer wall at Crossroads by writing down what's on your mind. We regularly pray over the things written by those in attendance.
The main purpose of this monthly prayer focus is to create in all of us the habit of personal prayer. Prayer is simple, powerful, and the most effective tool we have for staying connected to the God who created us and cares for us. It is so important to focus a part of our day to sharing our thoughts with the Lord in order to strengthen our faith and trust in God.
