The Greek word sōzō, as found in the Bible, is a word that means "salvation" or "wholeness". As a verb, it means to rescue someone who is in danger or peril. Our Sozo Ministry is a ministry that reaches out to women who are being sexually exploited in strip clubs & through trafficking and helps them discover freedom and healing in Jesus Christ.
Being uniquely located in our community, Crossroads is founded on being a light in the darkness.
Through our Sozo Ministry, we reach out to local women who are trapped by the sex industry and work hard to point them toward wholeness, healing, and hope that comes through faith in Christ Jesus.
Not only that, but we invest heavily in the tangible needs of these women by visiting their homes, praying with them and their families, helping with food & clothing, and connecting them to healthy job opportunities.
